The East Algoma OPP is going to have an increased road presence this week as part of Canada’s Road Safety Week. The national campaign aims to make Canada’s roads the safest in the world by 2025. Officers will be focusing on nabbing distracted, aggressive, or impaired drivers. OPP Staff Sergeant Rick Riopelle says these dangerous driving behaviors put everyone at risk, and they want to ensure everyone has a safe and happy long weekend.
