MacIsaac appealing guilty sentence for arson

The Sudbury man who was found guilty of torching a building he owns in Espanola is appealing the conviction. The paperwork for 48-year-old David MacIssac has been sent to the Ontario Court of Appeal.

Last November a judge found MacIssac guilty of arson and earlier this month he was sentenced two years less a day. The $1.8 million fire in 2012 destroyed a couple of businesses and displaced tenants in apartments next door.
