Elliot Lake’s Winterfest is this weekend. It starts today and runs right through until Sunday. Highlights include a Torch Run and fireworks at the ski hill. There will also be dog sled and horse sleigh rides at Spruce Beach. On Sunday, VFJ High School is hosting Elliot Lake’s Got Talent.
The children’s ice fishing derby has been cancelled because of ice conditions, and the free public skate tomorrow is also cancelled for a Wildcats game. Go to the Elliot Lake’s website for a copy of the schedule.
