An Espanola woman is facing charges after a Manitoulin OPP RIDE check.
Constable Berkley Parisien says that yesterday morning at approximately 1:00 a.m., officers conducted a RIDE check on Highway 6 in Espanola.
She says officers determined the driver had consumed an intoxicating substance, and an arrest was made. Parisien adds an amount of suspected crack cocaine with an estimated street value of $500 was also seized.
The accused, a 36-year-old, has been charged with impaired and possession and has a court date in May.
