ESPANOLA/NORTH SHORE CORRIDOR: HEAVY RAIN WARNING: Rain, heavy at times, is expected through tonight. Note that for the Sudbury region a winter storm warning is also in effect, although the heaviest snowfall amounts are expected to remain north of Greater Sudbury. For the city itself, snow will transition to rain

Periods of rain becoming mixed with drizzle late this afternoon. Fog patches. Amount 10 to 15 mm. Wind east 30 km/h gusting to 50 becoming light late this afternoon. High plus 5.

ELLIOT LAKE/BLIND RIVER CORRIDOR: SNOW STORM WARNING: The rain-snow line is expected to stretch from near Batchawana Bay to New Liskeard. Along this transition line, freezing rain and ice pellets are likely. To the north of the transition line, accumulating snow can be expected. For areas near and south of a line from Sault Ste. Marie towards Sudbury, minimal snowfall accumulation is expected as temperatures will remain above the freezing mark.
