New partnership with United Way – new dirt track for park

Espanola council is expected to give its approval to work with the United Way on a local park project.

Council was provided with an EDO report that The Espanola Family Health Team and Sudbury Public Health have been talking to United Way about partnering with the town for a new dirt pump track for youngsters.

The United Way would be responsible for the installation of the track and in return, would ask the park be re-named “Wolves United Park” since a funding source is the Sudbury Wolves.

It has been suggested that Sherwood Park may be the ideal location.

Council is expected to approve moving forward with a partnership with the United Way on the project.
