Due to the reduced visibility and the snow covered roads, all school buses operating in the Espanola, Sudbury, Manitoulin and Algoma Districts are cancelled today.
The City of Elliot Lake has also cancelled its city transit due to the severe weather conditions.
That includes all areas from Iron Bridge east to Sudbury and including Elliot Lake and Blind River, Espanola, and all points in between.
All schools will remain open with the exception of schools in Wikwemikong.
Parents who transport their children to school are reminded that they must pick them up at the end of the school day.
