There will be additions to Elliot Lake’s Miner’ Memorial Wall as part of the annual Day of Mourning.
The names of miners Lucien Simon, Paul-Joseph Drouin, Jean-Marie Marceau, Robert Earl McLean and Leo Paul Audette are to be engraved on the wall at Horne Lake.
Council supported the recommendation from the Miner’s Memorial committee.
The Day of Mourning Ceremony will be held Saturday, April 28 at 11:00am.
