The investigation into the death of an Elliot Lake man continues with the collecting of more evidence.
East Algoma OPP is being assisted by several units, including underwater personnel, canine and other forensic experts looking into the death of 31-year-old Joseph Topping.
His apartment, which is located about half a kilometre from the site where his body was found in a swampy area, is also undergoing a forensic search.
Topping went missing in mid-January and his remains were found on February 14th.
A post-mortem was carried out on Monday and, as a result, his death has been classified as a homicide.
Anyone with any information regarding the case is asked to immediately contact the OPP or Crimestoppers.
The investigation is on-going and further information will be provided when it becomes available.
