She is to appear in Espanola court on February 12th.

Impaired Operation, Refuse Breath Sample, Fail to Comply with Recognizance
The Espanola Police Service received a complaint from the staff at a local licenced establishment that there was a man who was not welcome on the property who was also intoxicated.

The investigation determined that the male had driven to the bar in an intoxicated condition, so he was arrested and taken to the station for breath tests, which he refused.

Further investigation determined that the male was currently awaiting trial on prior charges of impaired operation, refusing a breath sample, and several prior charges of failing to comply with his recognizance.

As a result, the 43-year-old Webbwood man was charged with impaired driving, refusing a breath sample, and failing to comply with conditions.

The man’s licence was also suspended for a period of 90 days, and the vehicle impounded for seven days.
