The Mayors Levee in Elliot Lake is a long-time tradition and this year’s quarter century celebration was exceptional.
Elliot Lake citizens received awards for contributions to the community at the 25th annual Mayor’s Levee on New Year’s Day.
Organizations acknowledged for their contributions included the Elliot Lake Aquatics Club, Cecil’s Korean Martial Arts Centre, the Elliot Lake Secondary School Tennis Club, the local wrestling club and the Puppeteers.
Mayor Dan Marchisella addressed the recipients with pride as he wished them well in the coming year.
