Three organizations are receiving funding to support Sudbury’s film and performing arts sectors.
As part of the Canada 150 celebrations, FedNor is providing $100-thousand and the Department of Canadian Heritage’s Canada 150 Fund is giving $37-thousand to Theatre Cambrian, Sudbury Downtown Independent Cinema Co-operative and Laurentian University.
The money will be used to teach the youth in Sudbury about First Nations, Metis and Inuit culture.
