A 21-year-old man is looking at multiple charges after an altercation with the East Algoma OPP. Police were called to a disturbance at a business in Bruce Mines where they found the man outside. He threw a concealed weapon onto the ground and tried to run from police. Officers ended up using a taser to end the struggle. They then found another concealed weapon tied to his waste. Among the charges are carrying a concealed weapon, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. He has a court date next month.
