New Democrat Mike Mantha says the Liberals have let a golden opportunity slip by them in the budget. He’s talking about the Ring of Fire. Mantha says the only mention the Liberals give the massive chromite project are copy and paste sentences from two past budgets.
He says the Liberals have once again dropped the ball on this project. He calls it a once in a lifetime opportunity, with a $60 billion opportunity for development, and yet there are only two sentences in the budget.
Mantha says it’s no wonder people are frustrated with the Liberals who he says can’t move the Ring of Fire forward.
