Elliot Lake is going into shovel-ready mode. It wants to service Fox Drive with water and sewer in an effort to create future space for nine industrial or commercial lots. The cost of the project is nearly $108,000.
However FedNor and the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation would cover 90 percent of the cost once the town applies. That would leave the city’s share to carry out the work at nearly $11,000.
