Ontario’s Regional Chief is optimistic about a Human Rights Tribunal ruling to improve the quality of life of First Nation children. Isadore Day calls the decision massive and maybe the most important human rights ruling this decade.
Day hopes the feds and Ontario Liberals start improving conditions on reserves for children sooner than later. He says for decades, First Nation children have seen non-native kids get better services than them and he hopes the Human Rights ruling ends this.
