Elliot Lake’s Fire Chief, John Thomas, is the recipient of a prestigious award.
Chief Thomas was named this year’s recipient of the Hicks Morley Fire Chief of the Year Award at the Ontario Association of Fire Chiefs 2025 Labour Relations Seminar held earlier this week.
The annual award is presented to fire chiefs who have significantly contributed to their respective fire services recognizing their leadership, dedication and impact on their communities.
The sponsor, Hicks Morley, is one of Canada’s largest labour and workplace legal firms.
