Manitoulin OPP is investigating a single motor vehicle collision that resulted in one person sustaining serious injuries.
Constable Berkley Parisien says last Thursday around 5:00 p.m., officers responded to a single motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle on Cardwell Street in Assiginack Township.
She says the driver sustained serious, non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital and then flown out by Air Ornge to Sudbury.
She says the street had to be closed for several hours and the investigation is continuing.
