Larry’s Place Fresh Start Shelter for Men’s 3rd Annual Homeless Challenge had some excellent results in Elliot Lake.
Rebecca Kelterborn, the Administrative Assistant with the organizer Maplegate House for Women says for several days last week, seven challengers and other community members took part in the initiative where they had to live in homeless conditions.
She says the agency deems it a success raising $7,065 for the men’s shelter and homeless individuals in the community.
She extends a thank you to the wider community for its continued support.
