Espanola’s Second Annual PRIDE Day is set to go, rain or shine.
Starting at 10 am tomorrow morning, there will be a variety of activities for all members of the family including Story Time in the library at noon, games and displays, as well as local groups advocating for inclusivity for all.
If it rains, the event will be moved from The Oval to inside the Espanola Regional Recreation Complex.
The Ride For Pride Parade begins at 1 pm and to cool off, there is a free swim at 3 pm.
10 a.m. – Yoga with The Bliss Basement Start your day with a calming and invigorating yoga session led by The Bliss Basement. All skill levels are welcome to join and find their inner peace.
11 a.m. – 3 p.m. – Family Fun Day Join us for a day packed with excitement and joy for the whole family! Highlights include:
Inflatables, popcorn, games, prizes, face painting, and more
Lions Club Sponsored BBQ with delicious food for everyone – FREE but donations are welcome
Thrilling relay races including three-legged races, egg toss, shoe kick, and more
12 noon_ Friends of the Library hosting crafts and story hour for the little ones including Espanola Moose Morning Host Rosalind Russell in her role as morning host and Ms Elite Regional Canada 2024
1 p.m. – Ride For Pride Show your pride in our colourful Pride parade! Participants can bike or walk around the track and field. Prizes will be awarded for the best decorated and most prideful participants.
3 p.m. – 3:55 p.m. – Lions Club Free Swim Cool off with another free swim session sponsored by the Lions Club. It’s the perfect way to wrap up an active day.
