50th LHNL tournament set for Sunday

The puck is about to drop for the 50th Anniversary of the Little NHL.

Every March break, thousands of Indigenous youth and their families travel to southern Ontario to participate in the tournament.

This year the event’s taking place in Markham.

Earlier this year, organizers shared a record-breaking 246 teams signed up from across the province… including many from our area.

The opening ceremonies take place on March 10.
