Espanola police have charged a 35-year-old Espanola man for driving while suspended. Police happened to spot the man on Lee Valley Road and they knew he was driving while suspended.
Despite an effort to escape capture, police caught the accused. He’s looking at a charge of disqualified driving plus three counts of driving while suspended. Police add any vehicle the man drove had to have an interlock device, and the vehicle he was in didn’t have the device.
The charges also mean the man has lost his vehicle for seven days.
