Former UFC fighter, now advocate for mental health arrives in Espanola

It will be a whirl-wind long weekend in Espanola and on Manitoulin Island for a former mixed martial arts fighter, now an advocate for mental health.

Former fighter Johnathan Goulet says the pandemic caused a rise in mental health issues,  so he was inspired to share a message of positive mental health through his foundation, The Warrior Path.

Everyone is invited to join in the Warrior Walk tomorrow starting at the Espanola complex parking lot at 10 am for a walk to Boogie Mountain and presentation by Goulet.

He will follow that up on Saturday with a walk on Manitoulin Island starting out from Orr’s Valu Mart in Little Current at noon.

Monday, Goulet will meet with students at Espanola High School at noon for an inspirational talk followed by another presentation and walk on Tuesday morning at nine am at the Espanola Regional Hospital.
