City of Greater Sudbury Ward 3 Councillor Gerry Montpellier may lose some pay following the recommendation of the city’s Integrity Commissioner.
IC Robert Swayze recommends that Montpellier has his council pay suspended for up to 60 days.
According to the report, Swayze investigated in January complaints against Montpellier alleging he publicly criticized staff in a letter to the prime minister, as well as during a television interview with local media.
The council meeting is slated for early next week.
