Queen Elizabeth’s husband has passed away.
The royal family announced that Prince Philip passed away peacefully this morning at Windsor Castle.
He was 99.
Philip was recently hospitalized for treatment of an infection and underwent a heart procedure.
He and the Queen married in 1947.
Further announcements will be made as to funeral arrangements.
