Black Lives Matter Rally and March in Espanola

There will be a second Black Lives Matter Rally and March in Espanola.

Andrew Mercer had organized a similar event earlier this Spring and feels the pushback against equality warrants another rally and march in Espanola.

He invites participants to design tasteful placards and assemble at the Espanola Town Office this Friday at 4:00 pm.

He says the recent marches and violence south of the border shows how serious the issue is, especially when pro teams and other affiliations are also taking a stand.

Mercer adds everyone must follow COVID-19 protocols including physical distancing and wearing a mask or face covering.
