Algoma District School Board sells school to SSM DSAB

The Algoma District School Board has sold a school to the Sault Ste. Marie District Social Services Administration Board.

DSAB chair, Sandra Hollingsworth, says Rosedale School will allow social services to use the existing building for Ontario Works, Early Years and Housing.

With the opening of the new Boréal French Immersion School, the school board declared the property as surplus.

Hollingsworth adds the refurbishing includes plans for 49 child care spaces, family centre, 10 seniors’ apartments and a community hub.
