The coalition’s new report, Situation Critical, looks at many issues like wait lists and staffing shortages plaguing care homes. The coalition also found 27 murders connected to these facilities over five years. Officials are at Queen’s Park today for the report release.

This will be the first time the Food Guide has been updated in over a decade, with an early draft suggesting a bigger focus on plant-based proteins. The federal health minister says the new guide reflects the changing diets of 37 million Canadians.
