Little Current’s Royal Canadian Legion Branch #177 has been chosen for a special honour.
The branch has teamed up with Ontario Provincial Command to expand its Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder service dog program in the province.
Provincial command is providing $225,000 to fund the training and pairing of service dogs for veterans.
The campaign kicks off this Sunday from 11:00am to 1:00pm with a fundraising brunch at the Legion hall.
