Nominations for chief and council in Sagamok Anishnawbek First Nation

The Sagamok Anishnawbek First Nation nomination meeting had a huge turnout with ten nominees for chief, 38 for council, including all incumbents.

The meeting was held on Wednesday evening with a huge turnout, however the number of nominees could drop by early next week.

All candidates have until 4:00pm, Monday, July 9^th, to accept or withdraw their name from the ballot by contacting the Sagamok Membership Office in person.

Election Day is Wednesday, August 15^th.
