Dedication takes time and 180 years of dedication will be acknowledged this week in Espanola.
The Espanola Volunteer Fire Department will celebrate decades of service as part of their 2018 Medal Awards Celebration this Friday.
Espanola Fire Chief Mike Pichor will be himself honoured with 30 years of service, Deputy Chief Henry Girard with 35; Assistant Chief Wayne Ashton, 45 years and Lieutenant Mike Langlois, 20.
Three other firefighters will also receive accolades: Ryan Courtemanche, 10 years; Tom Kelly, 15; and Marcel Dault, 25 years.
The seven will receive medals at the special occasion at the Espanola Legion
