North Shore corridor gathers together for Tanya

Collins Hall was filled with music and dancing in support of Elliot Lake resident Tanya Williams who is undergoing treatment in Toronto.

Williams was left paralyzed from the waist down after an allergic reaction to a flu shot.

The event held on Friday night was hosted by Massey’s Kellie Robinson of No Excuses Zumba with over 150 people taking part.

Currently, Williams is at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto where she is learning to walk all over again.

The event, Zumba for Tanya, raised over $5,000.
