North East LHIN announces new Chief Executive Officer

A new CEO will be heading up the North East Local Health Integration Network in 2018.

Former CEO Louise Paquette stepped down in 2017 and Kate Fyfe has been filling in, but the North-East LHINS now has a new man to fill the role.

The health care organization announced they have appointed Jérémy Stevenson as CEO.

Stevenson, who is bilingual, comes from the Mattawa Hospital and Algonquin Nursing Home and will be assuming his new role January 22nd.

He holds a Master of Health Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Ottawa, as well as an Administrator Certificate in Long Term Care from the Ontario Association of Non-Profit Homes and Services for Seniors.

With his new position, he plans to focus efforts on building a more patient-focused and integrated system of care in Northeastern Ontario.
