Pioneer Manor Employees Fired after Breaching Privacy Rules

Five employees of Pioneer Manor in Sudbury have been fired after breaching privacy rules.

It’s alleged the five took and shared inappropriate images of 10 residents of the home and shared them on Snap Chat. Management became aware of the incident after another worker complained.

The nature of the photos has not been released but management says the five employees were let go for breaching the privacy of the residents.

Pioneer Manor has told family members of the residents and the Ministry of Health about the privacy breach. It also notified the Sudbury police who are now looking into the matter.
