Man Faces 36 Sexual Assault Charges

A trial has started for a 45-year-old Espanola man that allegedly traded drugs and alcohol for sexual favours.

According to the Sudbury Star, about 17 teen Espanola boys became aware of or dealt with the man through several online personas between 2006 and July 2014. The man allegedly suggested dares involving acts of a sexual nature or line up meetings for sexual acts. He is facing 36 charges including luring children, communication for the purpose of child prostitution and sexual exploitation.

Approximately six weeks have been set aside for the trial in Sudbury Supreme Court.
